I believe this guy's just a blogger, but his incendiary attack on Mike Pereira is pretty spot on. I'm no defender of Gruden, but Pereira is reaching intense levels of smugness and arrogance since he got this ...ahem... analyst job on Fox. He's inconsistent, fork-tongued, and he has the audacity to rip others when he can't even get his own interpretations of calls right. He also was never, apparently, a head official even.

I find it troubling that this guy is wrong most of the time when they ask him his professional opinion on a review.

Zach Crockett telling some stories about how Gruden had the Bucs coached up in the 2003 Super Bowl, how before Gannon could finish calling the play, Brooks would change the defense and call the play...word for word...the exact same words!

Crockett said he knew they were fucked then.

The news stories that came out during the game about how Gruden actually played the role of Gannon in practices and had his voice inflections and play calls down EXACTLY....so the Bucs defense knew every play the Raiders ran.

Thats some awesome coaching.

Mike Pereira is the guy who looks just like Jerry Angelo, right? He is a joke. Gruden is better at predicting the outcome of challenges than Pereira is.

I took a leak next to gruden once! We didn't cross swords or anything. That is all.

I seems like simple luck of playing the team you left the year before.

i think bf was being sarcastic.

i do remember gruden saying he was awestruck by the fact that calahan was calling plays from gruden's playbook and he could see them coming a mile off.
