Doesnt matter how many times he gets knocked down or how bad he fails, he always finds another job in the (semi) spotlight |

he's never really failed. he's just faded in and out and reinvented himself as a game show host. i think he's a pretty big success story. |

My bad. It just seems like you go out of your way to heap praise on him and make sure nobody ever forgets his importance to sports talk radio. I think he has gotten plenty of credit over the years. I think he is and has always been bad. He just had an audience... |

And I would argue that he doesn't keep "coming back". He most likely will never get even close to where he once was. He does try very hard to stay relevant, but it always seems to fail... |

Recently ive been going out of my way to say that he is NOT responsible for others going to Webio....maybe that's it That is more an issue of me seeing a lot of that type of thing in my business and a lot of whiners who made their own bed. Honestly my first reaction to North was : Is this guy real? Nobody has that thick a Chi-CAH-Go accent. I remember the only North show I ever listened to. Day after the New Spaceship Soldier field was played in. He had on Fritzy and Gayle and they just talked about how they will never go back to that stadium. Riveting |

howie had the successful kids show "bobby's world" to keep him afloat...then i think he just laid low for a while. i don't think it was because he couldn't get work. that's not really how i view mike north. the guy is an attention whore and is bad in his ventures since getting canned from the score. this new sox broadcast thing, though...that is somethin'. |

Woody Allen all of these are quality names. mine would be more similar to rpb's: woody allen mel brooks jerry seinfeld ben stiller david cross honorable mentions to the greats carl reiner, jackie mason, and jerry lewis. |

Ive said it before, but Ive never seen someone come off as well as Henry Winkler does in interviews/small roles in films. He has great perspective and can laugh at himself. Watch an interview with him and tell me you are not a fan. |

Well, I figured it was either/or with Seinfeld and David. Stiller would be in my top ten. Jon Stewart too. Jackie Mason gets the Pete Rose treatment for my hall of fame due to his involvement in Caddyshack 2 |

Also, Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs pretty much get him in all their own. half of "spaceballs"; but it's worse than "caddyshack II" and more embarrassing because he MADE "dracula"...whereas mason just collected a check for "caddyshack 2". also you'd have to blame harold ramis more for CII because he co-wrote it. |
