i like hub as a fill in host... i think he's versatile and engaging enough to be a nice light listen on a night shift. sure, he's arrogant... and he's a ~60+ year old dude with an earring... and his chuckling, yeah i get that... but overall, i like it when hub is there to fill in. it's definitely better than SHAKE THAT

/me goes outside and waits for the russian hit squad to pull up and put him out of his memory. THAT = SHAKEN, NOT STIRRED.

Hub hasn't wore the earring in a coupe of years now.
Hub knows more about football & the Bears than the rest of the Bears reporters put together, & he is a great show host. I enjoy the hell out of Hub.

Of course it's not. The sheer numbers make it a ridiculous statement.

But the way Hub talked about being challenged to do Hater Wednesday was good. Hub is aight....in small doses.

My man HUB ARKUSH, of Pro Football Weekly and Basketball News and Rap News glory, is hosting the People's show tonight from 6-10pm.... on a wednesday. Welp, with the big Zambrano news instead of giving the people what they want in the people's hour, we got ~20+ mins of stoney, but then.... it happened.... it couldn't be stopped... it couldn't be oppressed... it couldn't be held back no more.... HATER WEDNESDAY IS HERE!!!! THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN AND GOTTEN WHAT SIR LAURENCE OF FARIS TOLD US THAT WE WANTED, NO, NEEDED!!!! COLON WE DO WHAT WE WANT so i raise my glass to thee, hubert arkush, for bowing down to the indeterminable pressure of the masses and stepping up and doing what's right.... supporting the MOVEMENT that is #haterwednesday. there's only one thing you can say in the face of such unabashed glory.... SHAKE THAT!

Yesterday was in Hub's wheelhouse, the collecting of information from a few inside sources. He's as limited as any goof off the street in breaking down actual play. His draft anlysis is not particularly strong. He really didn't even give a list of hot GM candidates and which might be a good fit for the Bears. His baseball analysis is pure Cub fanboy.
