Glad he had time to type that in between Towel Drills and his annual bowling charity event that he could never bowl in because his arm is not functional. One of these guys is a player in a major market, the other has been largely a dissappointment since he was drafted. |

LoHo was never drafted, but the major disappointment is dead on. |

Me too. |

RFDC wrote: LoHo was never drafted, but the major disappointment is dead on. Kerry Wood is a major dissappointment. LoHo is more successful in his career than Wood is. If you consider hosting a show in a major market, making it. |

Pitching in the Majors for the time Wood has is more impressive than hosting a show on sports talk radio. It does not matter if it is Bernsie or LoHo. Not to mention the fact that Wood actually has talent and has used that to get to his place in life. LoHo's talent is in being a good ass kisser and copying others in order to get a show in a major market. |

Fair enough. Wood is still a major dissappointment. #4 overall is not supposed to end up a journeyman middle reliever |

He has 63 saves and 134 games finished since 2007, his first as a reliever. He has a 3.49 ERA in that time, and an almost 3:1 SO to BB ratio. He has been solid. Ok. Solid. There is a thin line between journeyman and solid though. Mike Remlinger was solid...and a journeyman. Wood has been on three teams in four years, kind of a journeyman Still a dissappointment though. |

Just because you're bad doesnt mean you havent made it. See Tyler Perry. |

Mike Remlinger had a really good stretch with Atlanta, but both before and after that he was all sorts of average...maybe slightly below. He also moved around throughout his career. Kerry Wood has had more consistent numbers throughout his career, and he was on the same team from 1998-2008. Only then did he move around, only to come back. 3 teams in 13 seasons. Yeah he hasnt been a journeyman his whole career. And maybe he's not now. Maybe he's a good reliever. I had higher hopes. Unfortunately from 1998-2008 he had about 4 good years. Too much injury. Too many towel drills. |

He's lost 30 pounds since last night just due to fear after Laurence upbraided him for his impudence. |

Nope. No no no. He must have stopped juicing. After all, every time a White Sox player loses some elbows in the offeseason, that's how bigfan claims they did it!! Because as bigfan knows, a PROFESSIONAL athlete certainly could not drop 15-25 pounds in a 4 month span simply by working out and eating right.... |

There are numerous examples of talentless people "making it" I didnt know he was a self made BILLIONaire though Who IS his target demo? This has been talked about on the board before, but Ive never met one person who thinks any of that stuff is good. Is it a middle aged thing? |

I liked his plays and I believe there was a movie that I like too. He owns the rights to all of his stuff because most studios thought it wouldn't sell. He had a net worth of over $500M a few years ago. Black women love him and his movies. Teens like his sitcom. I would get his target audience is black and middle aged women. |
