There is nothing in sports more exciting than NHL playoff. No sport can claim that their playoffs are as competitive from top to bottom and from beginning to end as the NHL. Every series and usually every game is a hard fought battle down to the wire. And it all starts tonight! And for the first time ever EVERY game is available on tv, not just Center Ice subscribers! And what a way to start it off, with tonight amazing triple header. First off, probably the best first round series this year and maybe of all time when you think about it, Pittsburgh vs Philly. HOLY SHIT! Then you get Nashville vs Detroit, another awesome series. Had enough? No, good! Cause in the late game you get Vancouver vs Crosscheck's Spank Bank! Follow that up with the Hawks playing tomorrow and its time to settle in for some quality tv viewing. And yes I'm well aware that you can't really start a sentence with the word "and", but I don't give a fuck so go fuck yourselves you filthy douchebags! |

...or shootouts. Are they still going with the overtime playoff rules for time/period, skaters on ice and whatnot? |

Nice try Frank, but one round is a 1 game playoff and the next one is a best of five, and unless Tony LaRussa is managing noone gets hit.

Its not a try, its fact. MLB and NFL have less teams in the playoffs, therefore it is harder to win their trophies than hockey, where half the league makes the playoffs. |
