Had to watch a video at work today about sexual harassment...apparently this is becoming a problem? Anyways, this thing had amazing production value and the writing was top notch... "Hey, you're still coming to my office at two for your performance review, right?" "Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it!" "Well, maybe you can get there twenty minutes early and review my performance!" |

My manager had to go to a sexual harassment training back in the day. He was there to learn the class, and teach it to the rest of the office. He came back giggling like a school girl. We had to answer whether or not various scenarios were sexual harassment. This was my favorite. ________ manager has party at house. __________ manager has alcohol at party. ______ employees begin getting intoxicated on their own accord. Towards the end of the night, ________ manager suggests strip poker. After a few hands, ___________ manager says "let's get naked." Is this sexual harassment? One of the guys in my office was from Alabama. Awesome guy. He ended up transferring to Florida and flew in for my wedding. But he definitely had a Southern way to things. This was the basic rundown: My guy: So, everyone went there for a party. The host had alcohol. Manager: Yes My guy: After everyone is being awesome, he suggests getting more awesome. Manager: Yes My guy: Read me the scenario again (Manager Complies with Request) My Guy: OK, I got it right. What was the correct answer? Manager: That is sexual harassment. My Guy. No. No. Hell, no. That's not sexual harassment. Everyone had been drinking. |
