None on and 2 out in the 1st inning, the original fucking mentally weak puss boy Cole Hamels decides he's gonna school the youngster and drills him in the back with the 1st pitch. Harper takes his base, goes 1st to 3rd on a single,then steals fucking home when Hamels throws a lob over to 1st base for a pick off. Old school baseball.

I'm sure Hamels wife told him to do it. Bryce Harper is the goods. He could be my favorite player in all of baseball. I was skeptical at first but I am becoming a believer. |

Harper's definitely going to be a great player and the stuff he'll do on the field should be impressive, but I've read he's kind of an uber-douche. |

He is, but it's sort of an act at least partially. He's a "heel." Good news for me (have Bryce on my fantasy team), is Werth just went down ensuring he'll stay in the bigs (if there was ever a doubt). |

I just hope he can keep up playing balls to the wall. No one plays that hard and with that amount of intensity. If he keeps it up it will raise the bar for other lazy and entitled veterans. It will be great for the game. |

If you got a problem with Bryce Harper, you've got a problem with yourself. He's not a jerk. He just knows he's awesome and when people target him because of that, he responds. As I have been saying for 3 years, Believe the Hype. Baseball Jedi. And 312 player, I see the Hamilton comparison, but I don't think Hamilton would have been this good, all around. |

Why did Hamels admit to hitting him? Isn't that an automatic suspension?? Stupid. As to BH, certainly living up to the hype so far. He's good for the game for sure and nice to see Wash in the race. I've always liked Davey Johnson going back to his playing days with Baltimore. He even was good for the Cubs back in the day. |

did hamels get drilled after he hit harper? suspensions for starters are pretty much bullshit...5 game suspension = push their start back one day....the reason why hamels hit him? " welcome to the big leagues" was his reasoning...yeah ..great reasoning..what if he chips a bone in his hand or his elbow? |
