Fine bars in Schaumburg is an oxymoron. Shoutout denied...you've just returned to where you belong...like ET going home. |

Congratulations on moving to the most average big suburb in Illinois. Maybe one day you can upgrade to Naperville or Evanston. |

You live in the Chicago area. Traffic sucks everywhere at those times. |

Much of it is only 2 lanes each way...where it should be 4 lanes. Since everyone has to take 59...there is no way to avoid it. Some people who work more west can take Eola but other than that...icky. I've been in bad traffic around Schaumburg plenty of times. |

The only options would be naperville rd south and 59...both would take 40 minutes when it should take 10. Take Raymond, which turns into Ogden, turn left on Rickert, which then turns into Naperville Rd. Take that to 95th. I've just given you my trek through Naperville shortcut to CIJ's house. |

immessedup17 wrote: Lets say you worked on Diehl or North Aurora near 59 and had to go to I may love to argue, but I'm not going to argue the specifics of how easy it is to get between two cherry picked spots in Naperville. I could find similar bad ways to travel around Schaumburg or Cicero or Springfield.95th...no one is hopping on an expressway for that. The only options would be naperville rd south and 59...both would take 40 minutes when it should take 10. The last thing I'll say is that I've had to drive in and around Schaumburg plenty of times, and "lack of traffic" is not a selling point of that area. |

Naperville selling points > Schaumburg selling points Really, Spany? Does Naperville have a Smashburger? Or a Cold Stone Creamery? Or a California Pizza Kitchen? Schaumburg is a Mecca of all the greatest things about being an American...including the best Chinese food on the planet at PF Changs. For the record, I lived in Schaumburg for 5 years. It sucked. |

I will say, it apparently does have the only Hooters left in the area, which is a pain in the ass because the gf likes their wings. I'd rather save the 45 minute drive and just go to the BWW in Vernon Hills, but that's just me. |

53 and 90 are terrible. Consider yourself lucky that you don't have to try and take either one to get to and from work. |

I used to live in naperville. 59 was 6 lanes, minimum, right next to my house. Bad math in Schaumburg. |

I'll try a few routes to come up with the best one...I'm guessing Higgins will still be the best one though. Trust me...getting on 90 from Northbound 53 blows. You're better off taking surface roads...it will take just as long. |

immessedup17 wrote: Route 59 is mostly 4 total lanes, it is three lanes near Fox Valley and 95th. It goes back down to 4 total lanes south of there. You young kids are so cute with all of your wikipedia "facts". It's 4 lanes from Diehl to Liberty (roughly) - or, approximately 1.8 miles. It's 6+ the rest of the way unit between 95th and 103rd - or, approximately 4.0 miles. The bolded part is funny since there is no Naperville south of there. |
