$11.99 for a 12-pack of Modelo which is my favorite Mexican beer by a mile. Picked one up.

$11.99 for a 12-pack of Heineken which is a beer I enjoy immensely. Picked one up.

.99 cents for a Mr.Goodbar which has to be in my Top 10 Candybars That SomeGuy Enjoys list.

I just got back, can't wait for 11am to roll around so I can start drinking. Wife is out for the weekend, White Sox at 3pm, NBA on at 7:30pm.

Modelo is piss. Drink Pacifico.

I think it is pretty much agreed upon that Pacifico is the best popular Mexican beer. Everything after that is just personal preference.

Anyway, Pacifico sucks. Saying its the universally known as the best Mexican beer just tells everyone that you've never bought Mexican beer outside of the Jewel in Schaumburg.

I quickly Googled 'Top Mexican Beers' and Pacifico came in either first or second on 3 of the 4 websites that came up on the first page.

Budweiser also owns Modelo and Corona...it is all under the same envelope. Your point? I'm talking about the beer branded 'Budweiser,' not the entire brewing entity. Again, you're so quick to try to "catch me" in something that you don't even think about what you're about to post.

Who cares what people drink? I'm one of those people that won't bitch about people putting ketchup on a steak or drinking Miller Lite. If that's what somebody likes, more power to them. I prefer High Life or Coors Light. Those aren't for everybody, but I like them. So let me drink them in peace and I will let you sip your IPA or Pacifico as well.

It isn't made by the same people, Budweiser doesn't control Grupo Modelo. They are a part owner. Pacifico is still Pacifico, and I wouldn't compare it to Corona or Modelo. Not in terms of how it is marketed, and not in terms of how it tastes.

I choose my beers by taste, not country of origin or marketing style.

It's thread like this that make me addicted to this place....only here can a shoutout thread about a guy picking up some beer on sale turn into a pissing match.
