They took such heat over their Mother's Day ad featuring two women as moms that they decided to do a Father's Day featuring two guys. Predictable people with way too much time on their hands who care way to much about other people's private life are upset. Good for JCP. |

It doesn't bother me but it seems odd to micro target your advertising to 1% of the population. |

They should have used a picture of a single mother. |

Don't really care one way or another about the politics/morals of the ads, but for a publicly-traded company extremely challenged to grow sales ... doesn't seem like picking a side in a firestorm national debate is a good way to run a business, especially when you don't have to publicly choose. Meanwhile, their comp store sales last month declined 18.9% (not a typo), their brand new, hand-picked President "resigned" last night, their stock is at a 52 week low (and down over 10% today) ... |

I've seen anywhere from 1-10% but most of the estimates are produced by people with agendas on either side. The population I meant in my originalpost was apparently monogomous (co habitating) life partners with children? |

I almost missed the double entendre cross reference post. Funny. It's JC Penny's. |

My parents and grandparents always referred to them as Penneys. |

Ok- thanks for clarifying . . . but for all of our edification are those the online logos only? I'm talking about the name of the brick and mortar stores. I thought those were called JC Penny's with the " 's ". Do you know which is right for the retail stores? |

He was a college heavyweight wrestler, so he's always been big, but Christmas of 2010 he was going about 6 feet, 325, with wide shoulders, but a big gut. He went on TRT about a month or two after. When we went down to Florida on our Disney trip this past April and went swimming, it was like standing next to a WWF wrestler. He is a solid 285 lbs of almost pure muscle now, with very little fat, and he is bench pressing over 405 lbs. His legs are literally like tree trunks, but he always had huge leg muscles. He was always into lifting, but he is almost religious about it now. |

Krazy Ivan wrote:  NSJ wants more proof... Actually, it's no big deal. I've only walked into a Penny's twice in the last year - once to get some of those cone shaped coffee filters that were on sale and another time before my wedding anniversay to get some of those lace panties for my wife. I just think he's confusing the company's internet store front with their retail locations . . . but again, no big deal. |

Victoria's Secret or Fredricks of Hollywood has to have a much better selection. |

Penney lingerie section several weeks ago. Victoria's Secret and Fredricks don't carry bras that match her size anymore. Decent stuff at a decent price according to the lady friend. |

I wanted the kind that were lace on the sides with that see-thru material in front and our local Penny's was the only one that had a selection - even multiple colors. |
