If he chose Chicago instead of Miami every gripe about him would still be true and Bulls fans would be celebrating.

Well I'm still afforded the right to gripe about him then...

One of what, Game 4 wins?

I dont think you actually believe he will win several titles.

I feel quite comfortable with the statement that he will win at least three titles, especially now that we know number one is in the bag. You know it too.

No amount of titles can make the pompous nature of the teams formation any less of an affront.

All done under the rules of course, but it's the teasing of other cities that sticks in the crawl of NBA fans.

Number one probably is. If I knew you I'd offer a decent sized wager that he doesn't get to three.

I'm going to be upset watching Lebron win his first title, not because I'm mad he did, but because I can't enjoy it. He was my favorite non-Bulls player probably ever. I was so excited to see him win his first title. Now, I probably won't even watch unless there is a game 7.

That's the real shame here. This should have been the best basketball story post-Jordan. Now, it's not really fun for anyone except the Miami fans who probably will forget basketball exists the day after the final game.

Oh, and since someone will ask. Here are the questions already answered.
Anywhere but Miami, not just Chicago.
He may be the best player, but it's still Wade's team.
Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are not in contention for greatest of all time. Lebron is so teaming up with two other superstars makes it hard to judge him in that.

Oh well...No matter what happens in the series my life is still better than Lebrons.

Its not Wade's team by any measure. You're just digging your heels in because that was part of your original argument.

This is LeBron's team without question

I agree with your overall sentiment though. I was a big LeBron guy too. I wish it played out better.

I also agree that LeBron is not a happy person. He doesnt like being the villian. He wants to be loved.

Who do you think in 20 years will be the bigger hero in Miami?

Even when Kobe was the better player, it was Shaq's team until the day he left.

Wade has still brought an extra title to Miami, and a much more important title since it was the first.

It depends how much they win. Probably LeBron, though.

LeBron is the best player, takes the heat when they lose, takes the ball in crunchtime, and Wade specifically said its LeBron's team.

I dont think there is any question. Wade is now Scottie.

In 20 years? Miami won't care about any of them within 5 years.

I was never a LeBron guy so I wasn't goinna necessarily enjoy his first title regardless.

But Bernstein's quick explanation on his flip flop on rooting for LeBron made sense yesterday. He said like everyone else he was mad LeBron tried to make it easy on himself instead of testing his limits as a player. People assumed he wouldn't have to be all time great to win a ring. But he has been all time great and if he had been anything less this postseason Miami wouldnt be playing still.

I think we all can agree Bosh can't be called a superstar. I don't think Wade can either anymore.

Bosh is a 7 time all star. He's just the third guy on the team. Wade isn't as good as he was but he's still a superstar. Both of those players would be at worst the second best player on almost every other team in the league. The exception to that is OKC.

Post subject:  Re: Lebron James

Last night down the stretch Bosh posted up and hit a tough lay up, next play LeBron hit the big 3, then the next play Wade drove to the hole and finished beautifully

I was thinking ...."Exactly like these jagoffs drew it up"

I don't really care how many all star teams he has made. Watching the games you can't tell me he's anything close to a superstar. Are you really trying to argue that Bosh is a superstar? Did he even top 7 rpg this year for a team with no big men? Bosh was obviously a good stats on bad team guy because he can hit jumpers. Plus there's no quality big guys in the East.

Bosh wouldn't be the 2nd best player on OKC, LA, Clips, Memphis. You could make cases for other teams.

The Heat had very little resistance going to the NBA Finals. They had the Knicks, the Pacers and the Celtics. The Celtics gave them a run for their money because they didn't have Bosh. But with Bosh they probably win all those series in 4 to 5 games. The Heat did not face the Bulls, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard or any dominant big men. To contrast OKC had to beat Dallas, the Lakers and the Spurs. Any of those teams, with the exception of Dallas, probably give the Heat at least 6 games. I could even see the Spurs beating them.

If anything Lebron, Wade and Bosh stacked the deck. They pretty much screwed everyone over by teaming up. The Cavs and the Raptors are going to suck and just about every team that didn't get one of those guys. If anything them teaming up is a basic justification for contraction because there are too many bad teams and not enough superstars to go around.

Even if he wins his first NBA Title in Game 5 tonight vs. Oklahoma City, that won't be enough to satisfy some. That hideous celebration in Miami following LeBron's "The Decision" on ESPN immediately comes to mind.

JFC. Shattering the hearts of Clevelanders used to be cause for celebration in this country. There are convicted felons in sports who are more well-loved than Lebron James, all because he decided not to play for a demented owner in a shit city. Oh, and he's arrogant, which is apparently unheard of amongst superstars in the NBA.

Passing off in situations that he should have taken the shot (D Marshall)
Not shaking hands after a loss
Refusing to enter the Dunk contest
Stealing the tape of him being dunked on
the Free agency circus
The Decision
The Free agency celebration (Not 1, Not 2...) [That's enough right there to hope they never win one]
More bad passes to mediocre players in crunchtime
Dickhead comments after being eliminated from Finals....again
