For bringing to my attention that the NCAA is a 501c3 organization that pays no taxes.

This is a serious question...

Do you have CTE?

He made the point that Michigan had to vacate its wins because of Chris Webber, but that it's entirely possible nothing will happen to Penn State.

It didn't fully occur to me that the NCAA pays no taxes, but makes tons of money on "amateur" athletics and pays no athletes.

Rick isn't gonna like this...

I think the NCAA is non-profit( ) so they are exempt from taxes.

You could say the same thing about Kars for Kids.

Thankfully, Kars for Kids does not have a gravy TV deal like the NCAA because if they did I wouldn't be able to go anywhere and not hear that stupid commercial.

Yeah, the NCAA pays no taxes on the profits they never have or would never have!

In other news, companies that don't make any money don't pay taxes too!

The NCAA is just a group of individual schools. It's not much different than the American Medical Association or the Lions Club.

Also, an incredibly large portion of NCAA payouts go to schools that really need it and not the big boys. So yeah, Jalen Rose helped pay for new volleyball uniforms at Illinois Wesleyen.

No not in football.

And I don't think the majority of schools that really need it get the bigger share of the revenue distribution in ncaa hoops either.
