Best combo of a headline and opening graph I've seen in a while... Legal eagles cry fowl over politicians' plans to block Chick-fil-A As Chicago became the latest city to tell Chick-fil-A it isn't welcome because its president doesn't support gay marriage, legal experts said the communities don't have a drumstick to stand on. |

I think there is a difference between saying you don't support the concept of gay marriage and actually discriminating against people. Chick-Fil-A doesn't discriminate against anyone who eats there or wants to work there, so I don't think there should be any issue at all. |

This is the reverse of the gay oreo thing. A couple of people who were against gay marriage hated on Oreos because they support gay marriage. But overall, nobody gave a fuck. Now a couple of people who are for gay marriage are hating on Chick-fil-A for being anti-gay marriage. But overall, nobody gives a fuck. If you like a product, you're going to use/consume it, no matter what. Do we know what any other company, who hasn't announced their stand on issues, supports? Would you care? For all we know, Harley Davidson could be funding Hamas, Jewel/Osco could support the people who bomb abortion clinics. We don't know. |

Let the record reflect that this Alderman is against the rights of Chicago homosexuals to enjoy hot and juicy Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. Or is he just stereotyping homosexuals as people that do not enjoy juicy chicken sandwiches? I fully support the right of all homosexuals to enjoy any food that they may care to eat, including hot and juicy Chick-Fil-A sandwiches.. |
