All kinds of political ads on this site. Hope Big is raking in the bucks from these ads for righties and lefties alike.....Michelle Bachman, Claire McCaskill. Koch Brothers, Anti-Koch Brothers. Gotta give it up to Big. He is an equal opportunity opportunist. He proves the axiom that the only people who really like elections are the people who sell advertising. Bravo. Cash in on all that pac money.

Are you actually that dense?

The ads usually are generated from your browsing history. This is why I, like most on here I assume, constantly get the banner ad for the new Ke$ha album. It comes up at least once every 5 times i advance a page.

excuse me? I understand how google ads work, which is why I surely would hope he is getting paid for all these ads. If not, then who exactly is dense.

If your post was actually meant as a sincere "hooray and bully for you, BigFan" rather than the insipid caterwauling that I read it as (both initially and, frankly, again a second time), then I retract the density question.

yes it was a simple hooray for the capitalist.

But do you donate to the board to offset the cost? Otherwise you are just being a jerk.

A great man ahead of his time.
You youngsters out there can learn from his Amazing Story.

Probably nobody inna internet did more for the Little Guy than this GreatAmericanHero.

People still talkin bout the Saturday Night Massacre that brought a country back from the brink of #war.

Well done Sir Big.

I miss you. Things were much funnier here when youse was around. Now we got those losers you saved us from bringing down your much higher standards.

Enjoy your retirement and stay away from border areas. Please help once more and get McCain recalled.

I'll hang up and listen for my props.

yeah aren't the ads on the site google adsense or something? that factors into the whole "Tailored by your browsing history" claim upthread. i don't see ads here cuz i have adblock pro like any civilized web browser...er does in [Current Year], but that's how i remember them.

regardless, i'm pretty sure that the board isn't getting checks from hilldog/DNC or trump/gamergate2: alt-right boogaloo.... but i'm sure they'd welcome them simply for the $$$ involved cuz seriously, you pay me enough and i'll rock an "i'm ready for hillary" bumper-sticker on my laptop to seamlessly blend in with "the right side of history" =D

AdBlock is out ... 'uBlock Origin' is where it's at these days. Firefox & Chrome.

o rly? thanks for the heads up cuz i genuinely don't know what all the kids are using nowadays; much like soulseek b4 it, i installed ABP a few years ago, it still works for me, so i've never bothered to look into upgrading/changing it. "if it ain't broke don't fix it" you know what i mean?

i'm not an ideal microsoft computerjockey because i don't dig compulsory-upgrades, let alone auto-upgrades. firefox is always bugging me to go from v50.1 to like v50.2 and then v50.24 and then v50.3 and it's like "holy shit didn't i just update this damn browser a couple weeks ago?" [i wanna go for that french posting-crutch here =]

Why?

I read where it's b/c something like AdBlock started letting websites or ad servers or Puerto Ricans or something pay them a bit of a fee to get pre-whitelisted ... something like that. Anyway, the 'nope' party had started long before I heard anything about it.

I'd say d/l it, then just disable AdBlock rather than shitcan it just in case, for whatever reason, you say 'this uBlock sucks and DT's a frigging idiot on top of it so why did I do this?', or the like.

For one's convenience ...
