Instead of 2 different ones I'm going to combine this one.

A couple of weeks ago a new family moved in across the street and one over from my mom.

On sunday the father and his teenage son were outside after the rain ended tossing the football around.

They saw my Mom struggling to get her new microwave out of the car. Ran over introduced themselves "Hi I'm Bob and this is my son Pete we just moved in. Can we give you a hand?"

They carried the microwave into the house for her. What nice people!

On the hospital. Spent the night there Friday night (Pleurisy which hurts like a mfer and feels like a heart attack). The nursing staff was excellent and so were the techs for the stress test.

And you know something hurts when I use the term mfer.

M'eh ... two nice stories I reckon ... what the hell, I'm going to allow it.

(well, not nice you didn't feel well ... nice you're doing better apparently and they weren't shitty in the hospital, which can on occasion happen)

Resurrection Hospital is a front for Hamas.

Its become increasingly evident that you have quite the soft spot for CGS. Interesting.

Too easy a target. A great misanthrope like Don Tiny has no need for low hanging fruit.

Is it really necessary to start a thread because somebody helped your mother move a microwave?

The other day, I let a car into traffic. Do you see me campaigning for the Nobel Peace Prize?

I look forward to the next mundane story of great kindness. Hey, the other day I was at Circle K buying a soda, and the cashier gave me a penny to use! I did not even ask for it! Somebody call Mother Theresa, her championship belt is in jeopardy.

Did you at least get the 'Thank You' wave?

Resurrection is where people go to die.

I am not sure I want to go to a hospital that reminds me of rising from the dead. After all, I am not Jesus Christ, although He also probably would have let cars into traffic - if cars had been invented.

I am not typically friendly with strangers, so it is very taxing for me to let a car into traffic. I have places I have to go. But I do not do it for any reward such as a thank you wave. I just get the satisfaction of helping another human out.

If they wave, however, I definitely wave back.

Would you let ARod into traffic or would you just speed up in hopes of hitting his car critically injuring him?

Wait just a minute here, you don't have CGS on ignore?

The shame....the shame of it all!

'Round this time of year, I'm reminded of that during my morning constitutional ... cold water is cold.
