i watched the video, pretty cool. the highlight of the link though were the comments, ranging in idiocy from "yeah, but he did it on a high-school sized field" to "he used a tee, anyone can do that, whats the big deal". |

Hold on, did he seriously use a tee? If he did, a 67 yarder isn't overly impressive. Any kicker in the NFL could make a 67 yarder if he was able to take it off a tee. |

In the IHSA you can use a 'block' - not really a kick off tee more just a rubber block about 2 inches off the ground that the place holder can rest the ball before being kicked. |

yeah, not a tee exactly, it is just on a block where the holder sets it. i believe the ncaa used to use them too until '90 or so, only it was smaller than the high schools tee. |
