This was because Cy let an entire Steve Stone segment go over the air with Stone's mic off such that Murph was just talking to himself. I bet this made for some really interesting experimental, Bob Newhart-esque sports radio, and not having Steve Stone on the air is kind of a good thing, but Murph was a Radio Pro and of course he lost his shit over this.

I heard Mully this morning. I get the impression he didn't finish the story because Mitch barged in and insisted on being part of it on the air.

I took it as Cy was screwing around at the remote, putting the hoodie over his head and bumping Mully, but ha-ha, it was just Cy messing around. But Mitch didn't know that and immediately jumped at him and was gonna throw him out until he realized who he was.......

There were several holes in the telling of the story.

So Stoney is on for the first hour and I forgot to turn on his mic to start things. (Honestly I never was great at turning on mics) The interview finishes and Mitch comes in studio to ask Murph how the interview went. The talkback button was stuck, so I could hear their whole conversation and well it wasn't very flattering to me. Murph went on a bitch fest of how I didn't have Stoney's Mic on for the first segment. The man talked shit about me for about 3 minutes and nothing else. How I was doing a bad job, didn't pay attention and blah blah blah.

I couldn't believe it and I just snapped. I waited to the show ended but didn't even bother listening to that bitch. I did nothing for the last hour and even had my head down like I was sleeping. A few days earlier, he played all concerned about my father and then when he thinks Im not listening he is telling my boss how bad I am at my job. Fuck him. He tried to be nice as I was leaving and said "Hey Cy, what we got going on tommorrow" I told him he would figure it out and how he shouldn't trash people with the mic on. Then I heard him say something and I went back at him, but Murph didn't say nothing and I went home. From that point on I felt that Murph was a Cockfuck.

I guess all we've learned is that some people don't know how to tell a story. Either Mully or you guys.

The story account ranges from a drunk Cy committing an assault on Mully with Mitch coming to the rescue or it was just playful messing around. Wow.
