So, how are you going to get home?

Wife is going to drive downtown with my wallet. That way I can eat lunch. She's such a good girl.

She's got nothing better to do. Laundry, grocery shopping, and bill paying can be done tonight after I go to bed.

So like a fucking idiot I forgot my wallet and discovered it only after I got on the train this morning. So I as I'm telling the conductor I don't have my wallet, money, ID or anything, dude across the way says, "here I'll pay for him" and uses his ten-ride for me. Not sure if they would have thrown me off the train or what, but this guy really saved my ass.

You were the guy who left your wallet at home, and I let you use one my Ten Ride passes. You seemed to be really thankful, and smiled at me very brightly. You asked if there was any way that you could pay me back. Well how about I get that ride back, where I'm the conductor and you're the caboose? No Brogue. Nobody should expect to get a break when they mess up. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying I personally wouldn't be offended if I saw a conductor give somebody a break, especially if it's somebody I recognize as an everyday rider. Conductors see the same people every day. For the most part, they know who's who.

My point was it seems nobody forgets their cell phones at home ( because thats important to have with you when you ride the train ) but that little pass they need to ride the train? Utterly forgettable. Everyday theres a few people who do it. Also you expect that conductor to remember that you ride the train everyday out of the thousand faces he sees everyday and to remember yours and that you have a monthly pass? I guess I just dont expect to get a break when I fuck up and I certainly dont hold someone else accountable or think they are being unreasonable if I get called on it.
