Kim is the best at having a big ass and parlaying it into riches i agree he's up there. he at least graduated from the 9th Wonder esque 'soul sample & loop' track and is more diversified....which has disappointed me about 9th Wonder, that he could have been so good but regressed. and his drums sound like shit top 3 young producers for me: Apollo Brown, Oddisee, Exile and i agree the traditional heavyweights- Preemo, Pete Rock, RZA, etc...haven't really done much lately, maybe a decent thing here or there. |
