I concur. Dude has the stones to make a tough decision rather than taking the easy way out. Now, what does he know about evaluating coaches, I dunno. |

I also like the fact that he is meeting with the players today and then doing the press conference tomorrow. He clearly doesn't care about being a media darling. This is a very good thing! |

I have a feeling Phil made this decision when Lovie didn't want the deal offered earlier this year. Probably would of kept him if he went deep into the playoffs, but the fade (plus the snarky attitude Lovie starting taking with the media) made this decision a lot easier to make. Now, let's see who he gets. |
