In case you have not seen on facebook yet...
Eli is currently cancer-free! The official pathology report shows they removed all the cancer cells around the first tumor site, and the two lumps they removed last week were normal lymph nodes. He will have an MRI in March to get a better look at the soft tissue in his head (and to be a reference point for any future lump discoveries), and a chest X-ray and exam to make sure nothing has come back/spread, but for now, everything looks good!
We also found out out that the chances of it coming back is about 30%...or, as I'd like to think about it, 70% chance it will not come back.
