I prayed throughout the conclave for the cardinals (no, not THOSE cardinals) and their decision. I will pray for this Pope to be what the Church so badly needs.

Day 1 and he starts with a clean "pope slate"...

Buenos suerte, because he sure is going to need it! 8)

What is a pope slate? What do popes actually do other than pomp and circumstance ceremonies? Why do they need a bulletproof popemobile if they're the #1 guy in relation to God?

Us Catholics need to stick together. Especially when it comes to the CSFMB March Madness tournament...

Wish I could agree, HH. I am a very disenfranchised Catholic. The whole thing makes me sick. I'm considering signing with the Presbyterians.

Stick it out, Matt. We have a new GM and I'm sure he's bringing really smart people.

What is there offer? The Presbyterians have a pretty large market presence too. Good to have that extra marketing cash remain an option.

I'm hearing good things about Scientology. The commercials look like it's the correct religion.

I completely understand your feelings. I was a Presbyterian who converted to Catholicism at 28. I'm an educated woman who studied to infinity and beyond outside the RCIA program. I chose to accept what I love and believe and go from there. Did it ease tensions between my first mother-in-law and me? Yes, but how awkward when her son met somebody else.

I just pray that God will work through this Pope to bring healing and progressiveness to the Church.

Clergywomen love might be a problem for the CathoCSFMB coalition. That NSFW section had a few clergy ladies that could turn even the most devout followers.

I love being with this organization and my goal is to retire as a catholic one day. I couldnt imagine being with another team at this point in my career.

I've carried the Catholicism banner. I have given my blood, my sweat, and my tears for Catholicism. So for all of those people out there and all those religions and movements that never doubted Peeps, I'll stand by you if you stand by me. But for all of the people, all of the Catholics, all of the clergy, and all of the best friends who did doubt me, you can stick it. From now on, I consider myself a free agent.

I hear some old-time Catholic leaders don't like the way God kicked Pope Benedict XVI out the door.

A black woman, in Houston, that's Catholic.

Now I've seen everything.

Important update: no Roman numeral after Franklin's name.
