To the few NIU Alumns and those that care....lots of progress has been made on the construction of the new Indoor Practice Facility....this bad boy should definitely help recruiting going forward, another good season this year riding the wave of the Orange Bowl last year could really set us up here in the future...

That's the beauty of it! I grab a dog, and I choke him, and I kick the shit out of him, and all day long, my foot up a dog's ass! Just bang, bang, bang up his ass! That's my pleasure!

Anything that can go wrong for NIU will go wrong, so I expect some poorly installed ductwork to land right on a prospective recruit's head.

The guy who donated is a grad of NIU's law school. Don't think they'll be seeing any of his money after this is finished.

I thought this project was way behind schedule due to the weather.

Nobody is going to these games. A good draw for them is about half capacity.

When is the nice new(ish) Convocation Center going to translate to a basketball program above that of intramurals?

As soon as they clear out all those damned Jehovah's Witnesses.

I attended from 1982-86 and they had some success (in part) by recruiting Chicago area prospects whose grades were not quite up to the standards of the Big Ten schools. Kenny Battle dominated the MAC for a couple of years. Bruce Douglas' less talented brother Dennis also plodded around. Maybe having Dave Kaplan as an assistant coach was the pipeline  .
