Reds players typically take a short train ride from hotel to Busch to avoid traffic. They can leave fairly early for a day game and ride undisturbed among St. Louis business people.

Today was a bit of a change up because their were tons of Cardinals fans decked out in Cards garb for opening day and Stan Musiual honoring ceremonies.

They boarded and wanted to turn around but it was too late. The doors closed and they braced for the worst; what they got were extremely courteous fans who complimented them on beating the Angels and Nationals and some intelligent baseball Q&A.

That is class.

Blowing a game via a 9 run 9th inning will humble anyone.

Is a short train like the short bus?

You can find class acts and assholes in every fan base, in every sport...the "Best Fans in Baseball" act is getting stale...both pro and con.
