Last night was one of the best NBA games Ive ever seen.


So many game 6's are awesome. I know it lends itself to incredible drama by nature of always being a close out game, but man Game 6 almost never fails to deliver.

I will be perfectly honest and say I had not watched much at all of this series and didn't get to watch last night till about 3 minutes to go in the 3rd, and I absolutely loved it. Great theater and effort from both sides, will be watching tomorrow and can't wait.

Absolutely amazing game. I hated to see how sloppy everything got at the end, but overall it was a classic.

Lots of twists and turns in this one. I hope the Spurs pull it out in Game 7. They are a proud team that realizes this is probably going to be their last shot. It is always interesting to see great veteran teams as they attempt to go for that last championship. It is one of the main reasons that I became interested in sports as a kid. Both teams laid it on the line. I hope that the Spurs have enough left to take them in game 7.

LeBron had 16 in the 4th and completely took over the game and got the Heat back in it.

He missed a couple shots but he also hit a huge 3.

I agree the turnovers were bad too, but he totally brought them back and kept them in the game. Good to see somebody else make a couple of plays down the stretch to help out. I thought Bosh made some quite very good plays down the stretch also.

The run that got the Heat back into it was as much bad coaching on Popovich's part as it was LeBron. Pop had a bad match up in there and didn't do anything about it. Mindboggling in its own right.
But LeBron fell apart at a crucial point to close it out in final minutes. Twice. That's a pretty big story considering he is always ripped on for his (in)ability to take a team on his shoulders to win it on his own. He had the chance but it was Ray Allen who did it.

don't forget Ginobli. He created eight extra possessions for the Heat with his crisp passing and sound decision making.

LeBron went off. And blocking Duncan's shot and scoring on 5 straight possessions had nothing to do with coaching.

So you're just ignoring the fact that he hit the three to make it a 2 point game with 30 seconds left?

That was no choke. He missed a shot. It happens. He gets called out for EVERYthing, anyway. Last night the Heat won because of LeBron

I disagree. Time outs can be called, substitutions made, getting guys like Ginobli off the floor who are making bad decsions... You can slow momentum as a coach.

You are right, he did hit that big shot. But his play bookending that was awful. Those were brutal turnovers. I am not saying he didn't have a great 4th quarter on the stat sheet, I am saying the last few minutes he was bad and almost cost his team. Had Ray Allen not hit that shot, Spurs are celebrating. I don't think that is giving him too much credit, that was clutch.

I am not trying to sound like a LeBron basher, I'm not. But I think this is being pushed aside because they won.

I think the LeBron run in the 4th was such a big part of the win, its hard to criticize him.

And I think most times if the team wins, no one is going to be killing a guy who missed shots.

Right, I didnt mean that in an argumentative way. I just mean it was a good shot, but just not some crazy awesome play.
