I don't know if I've ever seen a more dignified superstar than Tim Duncan. The guy played his heart out and was dominant at the age of 37, I felt a little bad for him because of just how close he was to winning this ring. In my opinion he's one of the three greatest forwards of all time. |

Pop's press conferences are an exercise in douchebaggery on a grand scale. |

Seems kind of easy for a coach of Pop's stature to treat journalists like crap. I'm not a fan of people who abuse their positions of power. The original point in this thread was that Pop and the rest of the Spurs are "full of class and dignity." In Pop's case, this statement is demonstrably inaccurate. |

How are they abusing their position of power? 99% of the questions they get are terrible, so they deserve terrible answers. |

He refuses to supply that information simply to be a dick and, it would seem, humiliate them. There are good and dumb questions asked in EVERY press conference of EVERY coach. Few coaches go out of their way to be a pud like Pop does. His behavior is unprofessional. |

Also: Pop’s response to a question about how he’d get his team ready for Game 7 was an all-timer: “We get 'em on the bus, and it arrives at the ramp over here.” He actually pointed toward the loading area. “We get off the bus, we go on the court, and we play.” Pop is awesome. |
