Took my nephew (as a belated birthday present) and dad to Saturday's Cards/Cubs game. During the sixth inning, the usher in our section whistled at Jose Oquendo, who quickly produced a ball from the Cards' dugout for my nephew. Absolutely made his and my weekend. I recorded the entire exchange. Too bad the Cardinals lost, but it still was one of the best nights of his life. |

A home run was hit, and it went over a fence behind the stadium. I climbed the short fence and grabbed the ball. One of the teenage ushers took the ball away from me for going over the fence. There were about 1,000 people in that stadium.....and later the team went under. Not too hard to tell why. |
