When will Theo get some #1 starters? When will he get an organizations top prospect? That usually helps the rebuilding process. |

It'll be interesting to see what Garza does the rest of the year and the rest of his career. We gave up Chris Archer who is kicking ass with TB lately, so now with both being ex-Cubs, let's hope at least one of these "prospects" they got for Garza becomes a + WAR guy. |

Nas wrote: When will Theo get some #1 starters? When will he get an organizations top prospect? That usually helps the rebuilding process. When they buy them and one or two develop from the vast number of arms they draft. They could have taken a #1 this year, but the organizations philosophy is to draft/acquire vast numbers of pitchers and produce from the numbers. Thus Bryant gets drafted, 11 of next 14 picks Pitchers. |

Peoria Matt wrote: The Edwin Jackson signing will prohibit me from endorsing this shoutout. I do agree with you and I just assume right now we are in the "Good Phase" of E Jax. He had one game this year v AR he allowed 12 hits, other than that, his worst game was allowing 8 hits once and never had more than 3 walks. All that said, he would probably be a player you could move if he hadnt been passed around the league 3 times and everyone knows exactly what you will get. One thing you do get is a good pitcher usually right after he is traded. |

We appear to have the bats going forward but may have to overpay or sell prospects for arms. I want to see a #1 starter or 2 and I'll be a believer. |

I'm with you but why do they have to trade for that? I mean there are like 15-20 #1s in baseball right? Agree with BF either a draftee, a fortunate rare unforeseen devolopment of a middle guy, or free agent |

Cubs may have as many as 8 prospects in the top 101. Theo could defeat Superman without kryptonite. |

Are teams going to be afraid to make trades with the Cubs now? Outside of the COL trade for Dumbfuck, Theo has been burning them and earning them, snapping necks and cashing checks. I fear for the 29 other teams when they pick up the phone and Theo is on the other end. |
