For choosing ME to take part in a new NBC series (midseason) called Crisis, where I will be in a recurring role as an FBI agent. I have been getting a lot of opportunities lately (2 episodes #2 & 3 of coming season) on Chicago Fire (playing a prison guard) and doing a scene today (4pm call time) on Transformers 4 (playing a security guard), but this is really exciting. I may not be able to do the Chicago P.D. now, which I am also up for, but this is going to be a blast! The show is about a group of High school kids that are from an elite school in Washington, that includes the President's son, the children of powerful CEO's, Diplomats, etc. that are taken hostage, when their school bus (going to a field trip) is hijacked and the students and their chaperones, are taken hostage... It creates a national/international crisis. Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney are the primary actors. Michael Beach is the FBI director and my boss in the show. The cast is solid and has a real chance to do well. |

No, because that was Gillian Anderson. Good catch on the typo. (when I was introduced to her, the spelling of her name was provided) The cast is exceptional. Chicago may finally get a big hit (Chicago Fire has done reasonably well and is returning for a 2nd season, but not a true "hit") filming in this town. |

Good job. Will you be cast in a recurring role on the Chicago Fire spinoff? |

Personally, I think it's a pretty cool feat. His ferocious self-congratulation is a little off-putting, but I'd be very happy to appear in a TV show, or movie for that matter. Kamps was in some films. I'm sure those were unforgettable experiences. |

But I could not accept any other parts that involved a recurring role at this point, as I have to be sure to be available when needed on Crisis (which will be most every week for 1-2 days a week) and I can't risk that 2 separate roles might interfere with one another. Plus, I have my business to run and I really need to not overextend myself and neglect that. But I will be hoping to work on P.D. as well, at least an episode or two. |

Good for you Steve. I think it is cool when normal guys pursue their dreams. I wish you weren't racist or at least pretending to be on the internet. |

In all seriousness, congratulations Steve. In all smartassed-ness, I hope they cast you in a love scene with the smokin' hot EMT in that show. And I'm not talking about the blonde. |
