Whatever vitamins you take during the postseason are amazing. When you can hit .700 in a WS there will be a place in Cooperstown for you.

He only hit .688 so he won't be in the HOF.

Its getting really weird with the PED thing. I mean, Selig bascially gave Ortiz a blow job with the MVP trophy

Is that the message?

Yes. We'll blow you when we can't prove it. A couple years ago it looked as if Ortiz was on his way out the league and he found a way to resurrect his career.

He did bat 220 in ALCS though

Grand Slam cures all

Personally, I would have given the MVP to Lester

I guess he only uses them when he plays against the Yankees or the WS. He did have that grad slam.

As good as Lester was, Ortiz put up historical numbers. No way in hell was he not MVP

I think Lester impacted the series more. I mean, Im not complaining. Ortiz deserves, I just think Lester does too.

Theres no doubt that Lester deserves some recognition. He kicked his game up another notch. I cant say that he impacted the game more though. For those games Lester didnt pitch in Ortiz was knocking the ball all over the yard and bringing in runs.

Maybe mlb can create a postseason pitching award. Name it after Mariano...

I guess Im leaning toward Lester because I expected the Sox to lose both of his starts and they won

Fuck this guy. Once a cheater always a cheater. Just because he's supposedly a nice guy doesn't mean he should get a free pass. He also wasn't even the best cheater on the first two championship teams.

Relax, it's a 6 game sample size. He played very well but he's still a disgrace. Better disgraces are being banished.

I actually would put Koji up for that as well. The guy was unhittable.

There are plenty of disgraces in the HoF so Ortiz is good
