Wrong section.

Maybe the biggest dickhead, scum move in all of sports this year. He should be suspended for a minimum of 10 games, but he probably won't because Bettman.

Douchebag to the Philly media for naming him 3rd star of a game his team lost 7-0 and he saved .733 of the shots he faced.

This is disgusting - the ref (#38) should be suspended too. He stood there and did nothing.

There is something gloriously hilarious about goalie fights.

I'm indifferent to regular hockey fights, and it may be the booze talking, but when I saw it happen while sitting at the bar, I couldn't stop laughing my ass off.

Also, it's Philly, which is a cesspool anyway.

It's not a good goalie fight when one goalie doesn't want to fight and is making it very clear he wants nothing to do with it.

Isn't it kind of weird to be taking out frustration on a guy who you should have no beef with? Its entertaining and yet ridiculous at the same time. Emery should have gone after his own starting goalie for giving up all the damn goals....unless he gave up all 7 and then he should skated center ice and beaten the shit out of himself.

I had the news on and couldn't figure out why 2 goalies were fighting. After reading about it,I still don't get it. How would one of you guys like it if somebody out of nowhere walks up to you and just beats the shit out of you?

Emery is an asshole. He should be charged with battery. A hockey fight is different when two guys are running into each other on the ice all night and than decide to drop gloves. Two guys who stand on opposite end of the ice fighting is dumb,especially when one guy didn't want to.

Agreed. You have 1 goalie that just gave up yet another goal (giving the guy a hat trick) and having a terrible night, who decides to take out his frustrations by trying to pick a fight with the opposing goalie, who's pitching a shutout. The guy dominating the game is totally disinterested and in my opinion the referees should have stepped in and stopped Emery and told him to go skate back to his own end of the ice before he ever got to Holtby. I guess Emory was trying to distract people from his horrible performance in net, by doing better in a fight. Holtby may not have stopped Emory's punches, but he did a hell of a lot better stopping the puck. :!: Shoutout denied.

But in typical NHL fashion, when the Caps exact revenge for this (because the league refuses to handle it) - there will be suspensions galore.

Emery comes off looking like a meatball jackass in this deal.
Its silly there's no suspension. Most hockey fights are wink and nod but this guy clearly wasn't interested and emery kicked the shit out of him anyway.
