Very cool. I also heard a few Bears may show up tomorrow in Washington with supplies.

I would think it might be cool for the whole team to show up and help out for an afternoon, as I assume they are taking buses down to St Louis. So why not load up a truck or two with supplies, leave on Friday morning. Do a walk through at local high school for an hour.

If it literally wasnt on the way to the next game, I could see the reason for not going, but it is.

Its a good thing, but I can't help but wonder that if this had happened on say a Tuesday evening if the Bears and The Score would be doing as much to help out. I don't recall the station or the team doing anything for the Moore F5 tornado which was far worse in terms of death and destruction.

Not saying that people in Washington and Coal City don't need help (they do), just saying that I think its only because it happened at 1pm on a Sunday that its getting the attention of the sports media...which is actually kind of sad.
