I have many fond half-memories of underage drinking at a Punk bar called Circuits at Montrose and Cicero. It's now an open MRI clinic. Different people run it, I think. |

This seems terrorist plot-ish or the name of a band Jorr feuded with Microcontroller Bicycle Odometer Project Looking for good resources or advice on the project outlined below. The 8051 microcontroller must be programmed using assembly language.Inputs = reed switchOutputs = 7 segment LCD displayProject DescriptionIn this project a magnet will be attached to the bicycle wheel and a reed switch will be attached to the fork of the bicycle. A 8051 microcontroller willcount the number of pulses from the reed switch and calculate the distancethe bicycle has travelled. The value will be displayed on a LCD display |

I remember back in 1977 when my fellow physicist Gary Allabate was trying to convince me of the superstring theory and black holes. We were at Bryce Foley's Lab back when he used to run his very own Commodore PET that actually had an Internet modem connection at 1200 bps and used a system that paved the way for the Lotus software company. Bryce was cooking up some equations that were going to blow our minds when all of the sudden there must have been a particle shift in the room because everything started to sway and shake. Gary blamed the absinthe but I swore we used plenty of sugar cubes to diffuse the toxicity and inebriation effects but according to Bryce, we were all "put out". I don't even remember the next morning! |
