That's as opposed to these people in the traditional sports who, by the time they get to the Olympics, look like they'd rather be anywhere else in the world and probably hate their sport, their parents, and their coaches. I think it helps that pretty much all of them are pretty rich. They lose, and then go home and then continue to travel the world getting paid huge amounts of money in sponsorship and prize money. If you lose in the Skeleton or Ski Jumping what do you really do?

No, they are walking billboards and already paid. Being they cant wear the stickers, I am sure they get a bonus and they do a commercial if they win a gold, but it isnt that big of a deal to the sponsor.

I was more referring to how this is basically all they have. Life goes on for the others easier because they have a lot more going for them. My guess is a lot of these Olympic athletes are going back to selling insurance.

I would love to see the snowball-fighting made into an Olympic sport, even if it does venture perilously close to sanctioned bullying. Competitive igloo-building would also be interesting. Twenty years from now Survivor will probably be in the Summer Olympics.
