OAK BROOK, Ill. (AP) -- McDonald's is in the early stages of looking at whether it can make breakfast available later in the day.

Fans of the Egg McMuffin and Sausage Biscuit have long wanted the option to get breakfast at McDonald's after 10:30 a.m. But offering both the breakfast and lunch menu was considered logistically impossible, given the tight kitchen spaces of the restaurants.

Still, it's an option the chain is eyeing more seriously at a time when people's eating habits are changing - particularly those coveted customers in their 20s and 30s known as Millennials.

"We know, as an example, that breakfast on the weekend cut off at 10:30 doesn't go very well," Jeff Stratton, head of McDonald's USA, said in an interview.

Do it! My dreams of sausage mcmuffins for dinner is getting closer.

Wrong section, this should be a DB.

I can remember multiple times where I felt like I was waiting an eternity for the opportunity to buy some damn cheeseburgers. I have a feeling that McD's breakfast sucks in general, but won't know for sure until an independent organization eats it and then rates it.

Those things they offer now pale in comparison to the McSkillet...I ate two of those meager burritos one morning and was still hungry...one McSkillet and I wouldn't need to eat again until I got off work.

They are small. I don't even want to know what the hell is in them. The cheese looks like gold goo, but they are tasty.

Agree 100% about that tasty McSkillet. Those dollar burritos are tasty. My visits to McDonalds is down to one morning every 2 weeks based on my schedule. I enjoy the breakfast menu but I have tried to stay away from fast foods as far as cheeseburgers, etc.

By far the best hangover breakfast at McD's is the steak, egg and cheese bagel.

I want to try it, but I'm always scared what kind of "steak" is used in a fast food breakfast sandwich.

My understanding is it's not a "rule", it's just that the grills (or whatever) have to be at significantly different temperatures to cook the breakfast foods than they do for the lunch/dinner foods.

Its like a think steak um sort of. Idk, it feels good with cheese cooked onions and some sort of sauce to me. Plenty of MSG or something. Works for me but not more than once a month it is a clogger.
