The genius of SNL is that it has always sucked, but people remember the old actors who got better gigs and think it used to be better in the "good ole days." |

It's always sucked for the most part but the Phil Hartman era is easily the best. He and Norm Macdonald are the best thing to ever happen to SNL. The Chevy Chase era was meh at best. |
