You are one win away from making hockey go away in this town again. All the "sweaters" will disappear. All of the racist banners/flags will be thrown away. And, most importantly, all these bandwagon Haaauks fans will find the next thing to latch on to. You are doing God's work.

It was an open letter to the Los Angeles Kings of Los Angeles, greg. Do you know nothing about open letters?

Will you focus all of your time to listening to shows you don't like and watching a baseball team that you say you don't watch once the Hacks are eliminated?

What's your goal with the open letter? I'm struggling mightily to understand. You're not forced to watch or listen to hockey. No on is forcing you to wear a sweater or buy a flag/banner. Why do you care what other people latch on to? It's just really I don't know...not normal?

I am unable to avoid the hockey idiots. They mill about, breathing from their mouths....looking for large sammiches which they may devour.

The banners/flags are unavoidable as well.

I am thanking the Kings for solving a problem for me. Once the Hacks lose, their "devoted" "fans" magically disappear. I love it!

Racist banners? Because of the Indian Head... er... Native American Head? Native American Head actually sounds interesting...

Pretty odd obsession. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

It would be an obsession if I went out of my way to seek it out. I, of course, do not.

Sorry about your local hockey team...

Hit the nail on the Indian Head with this shoutout. I can't stand how the local news covers this like it's a big deal. It actually might be exciting for about 10% of the viewing audience. All these young broads with their Blackhawk jerseys and their Coors Lights. Back to your resturaunt hosting jobs, bitches.

So I'm just reeeaaaaally struggling with the concept an open to the Los Angeles Kings on a Chicago message board. I can forward you the LA Kings twitter handle or e-mail address so you can extend your letter to them. I think they'd greatly appreciate your peculiar obsession.

at least we wouldn't have to hear how hard the games are to find on TV anymore

The hockey people do make going to a bar nearly unbearable when a game is on. I think it's even worse than football fandom. They MUST have the sound on, and the bar MUST have a siren/horn that goes off when a goal is scored, and they MUST play the Fratelli's song.

I was out last week to dinner at a bar, and these 4 broads walked in, all decked out in their Hawk's gear during the first intermission of the game. Broad 1 sees highlights of the prior night's Ranger's/Canadians game, and is pissed because the Hawk's game isn't on, not understanding that the game was in an intermission. Big superfan there... (well, she was big).

I would call your obsession with me peculiar, but it's not. It's understandable.

And everyone reads this board, btw. Even the Kings...
