Sorry this is a little late,I was out in a wonderful backyard earned by hard work and soaking up the rays and slowly drinking boat drinks just enjoying the day. Fourth of July is my favorite Holiday. You know why because it is all inclusive. Every American can celebrate it. No religious bs that accompanies it like Christmas,Easter or Halloween. No comie bs like Labor day. No special requirements like fathers,Mothers or Memorial day. It is a day set aside for every American to sit back relax,look around at what you have and where you are and enjoy our freedom(that we have left) and success as a nation. I mean every American,native born or not. No matter your skin color or education level it is a day to celebrate and remember the principals this country was founded on, Not wanting to pay taxes. |

I believe Jefferson's original draft included "life, liberty, gay marriage and recreational marijuana" but the representatives from south Carolina would not allow it to be brought to the floor with those words. Instead he wrote "pursuit of happiness" knowing future generations would know what he meant |
