Dude got off easy imo. Kudos to the cops too for no arrest.

Police say a Daytona Beach father beat Frolander unconscious after finding him sexually abusing his son. Authorities say the father called 911 early Friday after he walked in on the alleged abuse. When officers arrived they found Frolander motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his face and was bleeding from the mouth. (AP Photo/Volusia County Sheriff's Office) .

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Daytona Beach father beat an 18-year-old man unconscious after finding him sexually abusing his 11-year-old son early Friday morning, police said.

The father called 911 around 1 a.m. after he walked in on the alleged abuse, police said. When officers arrived, they found Raymond Frolander motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his face and was bleeding from the mouth.

"He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you," the father told the 911 dispatcher. "I drug him out to the living room."

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1tZV6o9 ) reports that the father — who was not identified by police — told investigators he walked in as Frolander was abusing the boy.

When asked by the 911 dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said "my foot and my fist."

The father has not been charged with any crime.

"Dad was acting like a dad. I don't see anything we should charge the dad with," Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said. "You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times."

Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail. It was not immediately known whether he'd hired a lawyer.

According to the arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted the abuse.

According to some on this board the dad should have called the cops first and then waited outside for them to arrive.

read the stroy over the weekend.

Would like to see Oprah, The View, America Good Morning and other other show fat ass housewives watch all day have this guy on and give this father credit.

or would the debate be in full force then? I will assume each and every parent would put themselves in the fathers show and do what he did.

I have never understood how this kind of response didn't happen more often with abusing priests.

Well then you're damned for eternity. Plus not a lot of fathers walk in while the Father is committing said abuse or I'm sure it would .

it doesn't have to be in the act. If a kid tells a father something happened, walk over to the rectory and ask to see the offender

I think priests choose vulnerability , like the boys who don't have fathers @ home.

Good on the Dad for stopping himself. I'm sure there was a point where he could have kept it up and killed the guy.

Dental records would not have helped identify the guy if I were in that father's shoes.

I would have grabbed the offender and walked him to the car, as we might go see the police. funny thing happened on the way to the car, we bumped into some walls, pavement, trees, fists and car hoods. Oops, sorry about that, my bad.

Knowing myself any consequences would never have entered my raging mind. The only reason he would not be dead was I got tired.
