Used to be a big European summer beach destination. Not sure now after economic collapse and general unrest.

Visited twice, in 1973 and 1992. A lot of progress in between those years, especially following the 1981 earthquake that devastated northern GR.

Greece is a great place. It is laid back and casual but with a lot of cool things to see as a tourist. It is a good way to feel kind of like you are in the middle east but without the fear of suicide bombings or beheadings.

for you youngsters out there, Pink Palace in Corfu

My wife and I inherited a house in Greece. For real. I've never been there, she hasn't been there in like 18 years. There are extended family members who tend to it in exchange for grazing rights. It's in non-coastal, interior, Kentucky-Greece. It's a rock farmer's paradise.

And now we know exactly where Sam will flee after his crime spree in the USA is finally over.

Greece is on my short list. Too many places, too little time (and money).

He likes to make his travels known, be it to europe for two weeks or to the mall of america for the day. However we don't know who he took on this trip -- his wife, his girlfriend, both, or neither.
