well the timing on the contract extension was, but I agree. I think the guy has his money and the chance to QB a super bowl team, in it's own home stadium would be really cool

Yeah, not to mention this happened to him in 2005 right after being paid also. Yeah, the dude got two big contracts. But injuries pretty much derailed what could have been a HOF career and then derailed an impressive, possibly redemptive, second phase in his career now.
