David Carr was outstanding tonight. He's a rookie and already has better footwork and mechanics than Cutler. Too bad he's with a shit organization.

He played mistake free football with no turrnovers in a miserable downpour. This kid should become a star, but he's on the Raiders so probably not. I would drive Cutler to Oakland if I could return with Carr.

for anyone who seriously did a fist pump last night or thinks this should really be celebrated (i know CH made this facetiously), i never wanna hear you complain about trophies for everyone at the child level. because this is actually worse.

It was more a sigh of relief than anything else for me. I don't think I could have borne to see the Oakland Raiders have an 0-16 season. Football is lame, but the Raiders are cool.

There's something about the two Oakland Coliseum teams that's just really cool to me (whatever it is, the Golden State Warriors lack it). I really like the A's, and I'd like the Raiders even more if I could get into the game of football more than I do. If the Raiders move to Los Angeles or, god forbid, San Antonio, it's gonna suck a lot.
