What evidence do we have? Even the article states that some of the accounts are still active. What those people did in Ferguson should be enough for everyone to ignore them. This is nothing more than free advertising. This is a bad organization in so many ways.

Im not sure where I come down. I agree with a lot of what they do, but what happens when I dont?

Yes. They come out and claim that they can do a lot of things or have evidence in an attempt to raise their profile. We buy it without them ever having to deliver. They put out the name of the wrong cop in Ferguson. If he had gotten killed nothing would have happened to them. They claimed that officers were members of the KKK. Again no proof was provided. Only thing this group cares about is raising their profile.

I agree they want a high profile so when they make a DEMAND it is carried out....but that doesnt make all their actions and statements wrong.

They appear to oppose the preponderance of power in any one area. But, who knows who they really are or if that is their true agenda.

Anonymous is just a front for hackers that want positive PR. Anyone can say they are part of anonymous and do what they want. They aren't a group any more than Bears fans are a group.

Then, they steal 10 million credit card numbers and people say "Yeah, but remember when they exposed the rapists or when they caused ISIS to change their passwords?".

I think at least one member of Anonymous is going to find out they're not as anonymous as they think they are, and is going to be murdered. It might not be next week, or next month, but I think this is going to have dire consequences for some person who thinks they're untouchable behind their computer.

Hackers belong in jail. Just because they choose to try to damage a horrible group like ISIS doesn't make them good people. Want to fight ISIS? Join the military and I'll have a lot more respect for you than some punk who hides behind his computer and a mask while claiming to do battle.
