Beardown and a lot of other people were wrong. My guy told me this was a done deal a few days ago.

Hopefully he's learned a little humility by the experience. But does anyone ever really "learn" humility?

What a horrible hire. Guess the ratings can't get any worse .

I just listened to the end of the midday show and tranny. For those that don't like Spiegel, be happy. Goff isn't gonna let him talk much if this was an indication.

Jeez. Goff can cut you off and out shout over voices better than anybody I've ever seen. (Said that in my Hawk voice)

This is a great day. However, I am conflicted as one of my favorite radio guys is now paired with my least favorite. Here's to hoping that Tributo plays more gigs this year, thus leading to more days off for Meatpants.

He came very cheap. They aren't paying him big money. His ego is far bigger than his check. When you are 4th or 5th choice, you don't have much bargaining power.

(Said that in my Hawk voice) He got used to working with that guy in Atlanta, the Bizarro Mac, who never spoke so Goff had to talk all the time - to the point that when Bizarro Mac left to teach Algebra at Southeastern Northern Florida Tech A&M, they didn't even bother to give Goff another partner.
