I hear good things about him out of Sloan Park. The young hitting prospects are picking up his instructions quickly, and respect him from his great work with guys like Stanton, Cabrera, Altuve, Springer, and so on. Coghlan credited Mallee with helping him win ROTY, and was one of the most vocally disappointed when Mallee was fired from the Marlins. How many Cubs hitters will have an OPS over .800 this season? Four? Five? |

I believe he's primed to be the 1st hitting coach to win manager of the year. |
