i have never been to a walgreens where i haven't had to wait behind at least 2 old people, one of which has a coupon that needs to be looked at by a manager, and i have never been in and out of a walgreens in less than 10 minutes, ever.

Truer words were never spoken. And every time, I just want to let out an audible sigh and yell "WHILE WE'RE YOUNG"

still better than the muslims with 2 cartloads at CVS... i swear to god you'll never see anyone in a hijab at walgreens but they're always at CVS; i wonder if it has something to do with a halal rating? maybe walgreens is haram?

the one thing that always creeped me out about walgreens was that period of time where you can tell regional/corporate forced everyone working to drop what they're going and greet you with a full-on eye contact "WELCOME TO WALGREENS!!!!!!" every time you walked in the store. we had to do that at einstein bros bagels back in the day and it was called "WOW SERVICE!" because the theory was doing that would make people go "WOW, WHAT GREAT SERVICE! I'M COMING BACK HERE" --- but at walgreens its like "wtf are you doing just finish checking me out ASAP plz"

I rarely go to Walgreen's, but when I do, I go to the closest one. I go to the one in Naperville with the 24 hour pharmacy, if I need to get a prescription for one of my kids.

I personally loved the exhortation "be well." It seemed deeper and more meaningful than "good day" even though it really was only a tie in to them selling pharmaceuticals.
