I had a conversation with my 5th graders about cassette tapes a few weeks ago. Most did not know what they are. |

Gosh, it seems like most of the best teams are built around freshmen who are only there because the NBA requires them to be of a certain age before joining the league. Maybe a board lawyer can explain it to me... I get that these deals are collectively bargained, and therefore binding, but shouldn't that only be binding to the class that agrees to it? If I'm a 15 year old basketball phenom, I have to follow the rules that some 20+ year olds agreed to with the NBA? To me, that seems unfair. I had no say in the agreement, and no way to protest the stipulations. I have the same argument against the NFL. I understand why the owners don't want to take the risk on younger kids, but if any given owner thinks a 15 year old can play, then why is that illegal? I'll hang up and listen for my answer. |

Incidentally, Steve Shannon is still the morning host! EDIT: let us not forget "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Follow You Down," "1979," "There She Goes Again," and at least four cuts off Jagged Little Pill and Tragic Kingdom. |
