We're paying for it, why should these lazy lowlifes eat steak and lobster on our dime? Let those motherfuckers eat gruel and chicken nuggets only. |

Let them die in the streets then. I don't want to pay for their surf and turf feasts. If you're so concerned about lazy bums who refuse to work why don't you start a faith-based initiative to help them out? |

Nobody wants to eat your gluten-free cakes anyway. |

Help me understand how, at least in the state of Wisconsin, people can refuse hours and then turn around and file for unemployment, claiming they are not getting enough hours???? |

I think there are definitely people who abuse welfare programs and that should be addressed. But the amount of blame (for all economic woes) many put on people on govt assistance (the poor) is disproportionate, imo. Many times these same people are against raising the minimum wage. (which would save millions in govt assistance to low income workers) Its demonization of the poor. |

I would turn the question around and ask how an employer can reduce hours and then expect the employee to keep smiling and coming in to get half a paycheck. |

A buddy of mine's kid was working 6-12 hour days a week 6 hours every Sunday for three months in WI. Took one day off, and they wacked him. |

The last union job I had I worked that many hours a week, but I got Saturday off. |
