Do everything I can for the first 16 or so years to not be in that position. I can't imagine, no matter how angry, hitting my kid like that. He has no respect for her either and goes way beyond normal teenage not wanting to answer to your parents.

the moms reaction tells me she DID try everything she could for the first 16 years to raise him not to do something like that.

she seemed shocked he actually did. and she made sure the kid knew he fucked up bad

if it was my kid, i would chase him with a bat then when hes gone somewhere pissin his pants i would destroy everything he owned and leave it in the front yard in pieces. then i would make him clean everything up by hand to show him what he would have made other people feel like.
