Do everything I can for the first 16 or so years to not be in that position. I can't imagine, no matter how angry, hitting my kid like that. He has no respect for her either and goes way beyond normal teenage not wanting to answer to your parents. |

A good time out would have put this kid in his place. I mean we all realize how easy it is to raise a kid and tell him how to behave and that kid will immediately stop and do the right thing. I wish more parents were like this one. God bless her. Why are parents so afraid to hit their kid anymore? It's not like he was hurt physically? He learned his lesson I bet. |

the moms reaction tells me she DID try everything she could for the first 16 years to raise him not to do something like that. she seemed shocked he actually did. and she made sure the kid knew he fucked up bad if it was my kid, i would chase him with a bat then when hes gone somewhere pissin his pants i would destroy everything he owned and leave it in the front yard in pieces. then i would make him clean everything up by hand to show him what he would have made other people feel like. |

I don't know the backstory. If the kid didn't loot or destroy property she should be proud that he protested. Has this country really come to the point where public protest is now considered to be unpatriotic? |
